How to Add Facebook Messenger to Your Website

Add Facebook Messenger

  1. Open your Facebook page
  2. Click Settings at the top right corner


  3. Click Messaging tab at left sidebar


  4. Scroll down the page and look for Add Messenger to your website
  5. Click Get Started button at the right
  6. Set up customer chat display, Click Next


  7. Keep the language selected or Change the language from the dropdown list 
    Keep or change the greeting message
  8. Click Next


  9. Keep or Choose a color from the dropdown color panel for messenger chat
  10. Click Next when done


  11. Add your website domain at field of upper left 


  12. Click Save button
  13. Select option of I’ll install the code myself
  14. Hover to the code at right and Click Copy code to clipboard


  15. Click Finish
  16. Click Done


  17. Open WordPress dashboard
  18. Go to Plugins > Add New


  19. Search for Insert Headers and Footers plugin


  20. Install and Activate it
  21. Go to Settings > Insert Headers and Footers


  22. Paste the code copy just now in Scripts in Footer


  23. Click Save button
  24. Open your site and Refresh it
    You can see Facebook chat at bottom right of your website
